There has been much written about green tea and its wonderful properties over the past couple of years. Research is being done constantly to find new uses for what seems to be a wonderful natural gift to mankind. With antioxidant properties that seem to hold the secret to "reversing" aging, green tea would appear to be the next best thing to the fountain of youth. It is important to separate facts from fiction if you are thinking about starting to drink green tea as a way to improve your health.

Of course, research is limited to short term studies at this point because green tea really only burst upon the popular scene within the last few years. That is not to say that drinking green tea is a new practice. It was popular in China long before it gained popularity as a way to lose weight and eliminate signs of aging.

Green tea weight loss products have sprung up and are being sold to people in search of the next best way to lose weight.
