By Chris KleegelThere has been much written about green tea and its wonderful properties over the past couple of years. Research is being done constantly to find new uses for what seems to be a wonderful natural gift to mankind. With antioxidant properties that seem to hold the secret to "reversing" aging, green tea would appear to be the next best thing to the fountain of youth. It is important to separate facts from fiction if you are thinking about starting to drink green tea as a way to improve your health.
Of course, research is limited to short term studies at this point because green tea really only burst upon the popular scene within the last few years. That is not to say that drinking green tea is a new practice. It was popular in China long before it gained popularity as a way to lose weight and eliminate signs of aging.
Green tea weight loss products have sprung up and are being sold to people in search of the next best way to lose weight. Unfortunately, some of these people are looking for a way to lose weight without any effort or sacrifice at all. That is not how green tea weight loss results will be realized. You cannot continue to eat in unhealthy ways and bombard your body with toxins if you want to see results from usinggren tea.
If you are considering using green tea as a supplement to your weight loss program, just be sure to do your research so that you know what can reasonably be expected. Even though some products over hype what green tea can do for you, there are some short term studies that suggest that it can increase your level of energy and help to clear toxins from your system.
Whether you decide to try green tea weight loss products or not is up to you. If you have a bit of patience, reports from users seem to indicate that they experienced increased levels of energy while getting in shape. Be sure to talk to your doctor about whether or not you should try green tea or any other weight loss product before starting any new weight loss methods.
